St. James
Overtime Games: (from most recent, ¶
indicates a playoff game)
St. James' varsity, unlike many other programs,
has never played a *tie* game. For years, non-area games
could end in a tie at the
discretion of the coaches. Now, all varsity games are
subject to overtime provisions. The Junior Varsity teams
and middle school
and/or Junior High teams have played to several tie results over
the years. Currently, St. James Junior Varsity and Middle
School
teams do not break ties in games which end in regulation in a
tie score. That has not always been the case in the past.
St. James is 5 - 5 at home in
playoff history, but only 2 - 11 on the road.
St. James has won one game by forfeit - when the
game did not even take place
St. James has one win by "no game" where the
opponent disbanded their team midseason, but prior to the game
date
St. James and another team mutually agreed to
cancel a game to allow the opponent to participate in a
post-season Bowl Game.
Therefore, no "forfeit" was in effect.
St. James has never had to forfeit a game themselves.
