Scheduled: September 15, 1988
Tuskegee Field.
The D.C. Wolfe coaching
staff notified St. James the morning of this scheduled game, a
Thursday, that they would be forfeiting. The Pirates only had 11
players physically able to dress out and play, due to a number of
injuries and several suspensions from their previous week's game
against South Macon. The weather conditions were also poor,
and the game would probably have been postponed until at least
Saturday, as Tuskegee High School had a home game scheduled for Friday
night.
