Jason Dyess scored three touchdowns and added a pass reception for a two point conversion as the Trinity Wildcats scored four touchdowns in the second quarter to break open a close game en route to a 42 - 7 defeat of the homestanding Trojans.

Dyess' touchdowns were of 5, 2, and 3 yards.  Quarterback Allan Carr scored on runs of 12 and 2 yards, tossed the conversion pass to Dyess, and threw a touchdown pass of 12 yards to Matthew Coblentz just before halftime.  Trinity converted 4 of their 5 extra point kick attempts.

St. James finally got their offense going late against the Trinity defensive reserves as Sequon Herring scored on a quarterback bootleg from 28 yards out, and Andy Bell added the extra point to close out the game scoring.
