Newt Norton's six yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter gave the Eagles the lead for the second time in the second half which carried them to an area win (and eventually an area championship). After a scoreless first half, St. James answered Eddie Carson's touchdown run (which was set up by a blocked punt) immediately
with a kickoff return touchdown, but unfortunately no details on that touchdown were available.
