Highlights:  Mark Kitchens scored three touchdowns in a turnover-filled game as the Trojans shut out their second consecutive city rival; this time the Catholic Knights were a 28 - 0 victim.  The teams combined for 5 turnovers on the first 5 drives.  The fifth turnover, an interception of Catholic, was returned deep into Knight territory, setting up the first Trojan touchdown, Kitchens' 1 yard run.  Catholic returned the ensuing kickoff to the Trojan 48, and appeared to have connected on a 48 yard touchdown pass on the next play, but an illegal formation penalty wiped out the touchdown, which proved to be the only serious scoring threat of the game by Catholic.

St. James rushed through the outmanned Knight defense for 248 yards.  However, 11 penalties for 95 yards, 3 interceptions, and 2 fumbles did not help the Trojan offense.
