Johnny Redding was
just one yard short rushing of 200 as he scored three rushing
touchdowns. Jeff Stevenson added two rushing scores of
his own from the quarterback position. Kelly McGehee
scored his first touchdown of the season as backup running
back to Redding, and Mark Kitchens, backup quarterback, ran
for a touchdown and passed for one as well to Jody Ortega as
the Trojans overwhelmed the rebuilding Rebels in
Thorsby. Dearl Hilyer did catch two passes for a total
of 40 yards, one of those for one of the Rebel touchdowns, and
led the Thorsby defense, as it was, with six tackles.
