Saint James played its first game ever at Collier Field, its new Vaughn Road home which was previously the property of the recently-defunct Central Alabama Academy.  However, Eagle quarterback Jim Parker was the clear star of this game.  He was 9 for 11 in the passing department, throwing touchdown passes of 28, 57, 14, and 2 yards, and he rushed as well 24 times for 202 yards to lead Montgomery Academy to the city victory.
