Thorsby failed to complete any passes, but they really did not need to in this game as the Rebels amassed 406 yards rushing on 45 carries.  Mike Rogers was responsible for 229 of those yards and a pair of touchdowns.  Saint James scored late in the fourth quarter as Eric Ponder outraced Thorsby second-string defenders to the endzone after catching a short pass from quarterback David Rudd on his way to one of the longest touchdown receptions in Trojan history.
