Riding a seven game winning streak, Catholic clinched
its playoff berth with an area victory over the Trojans on their
shared field. David Fields rushed for 89 yards and Zack
Pappanastos for 77 as part of the Knights' 227 yards rushing
total overall. They added 70 in the passing game, 60 of
those yards on the first half touchdown pass. The
Trojans were held to only three first downs and 81 yards total
offense. This marked the seventh consecutive game where
Saint James either shut out an opponent, or was shut out by
their opponent. The tired Trojans were finally rewarded
with an open date in the upcoming week to help recover from
three straight significant beatings.
