The Trojans once again swept the city rival Wildcats in regular season matchups by defeating Trinity
6-1 at Jason Armstrong Field.  C.J. Shaw knocked in the first run of the game by singling in Jason
Soriano, who had led off with a walk.  Trinity added an unearned run in the bottom of the first as
Matt Tapley reached on an error, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a
single by Tommy Trott.  St. James avoided further damage as Thompson made a good play on a line
drive in right field, and Ted Brewer struck out the final batter of the inning.  Thompson knocked in
the Trojans' second run of the game in the third with a single which plated Bruce Alter, who had led
off the inning with a double.  Ted Brewer allowed several Trinity runners to reach, but did not allow
another run and only three hits in his six innings of pitching.  The Trojans put the game away in the
top of the seventh as Soraino, Alter, and Guy Martin loaded the bases with singles.  Shaw singled in
his second run of the game, and Thompson doubled in two more.  Drew Gunn knocked in the final
run of the inning on a ground out.  Adam Mills moved from his third base position to retire the last
three batters and secure the victory.
